OK.
It's been a long, long, long time since I've posted anything here. What can I say? I've been busy. I've been going back and forth between San Diego and Phoenix (getting trapped in snowstorms along the way, if you can believe it), attending funerals and weddings. Well, one funeral and one wedding. I'm sad to say I lost my grandfather. He was nearly 89 when he died, and still sharp as a tack. It was quick and painless, it seems. This doesn't really make it all better or anything, but at least it makes it some better.But a couple things have happened lately. I don't think I ever posted here when the No Tell Motel anthology (The Bedside Guide To No Tell Motel) came out. That was fun. If you haven't gotten your copy yet, I suggest you get yourself over to No Tell or to Amazon and order a copy.
And yesterday the Digerati anthology from 3 Candles Press came in the mail. It's a great collection. I signed on in the beginning not really knowing what to expect, and carrying along my usual pessimism, but even had I gone in with high expectations I would not be disappointed. It's worth a read, no doubt.
I'll try to be better about posting here.
Oh. And I should mention that I am working on collecting recordings from both anthologies to put together My Vocabulary episodes devoted to them. Won't be able to air them immediately though -- the station sort of ... crashed. Hopefully it will be back up soon.
